Tallow Lip Balm Recipe
Yield: 15 Lip Balm Containers
Equipment
- Double Boiler
- Kitchen Scale
- Lip Balm Containers
- Spatula
Materials
- 30 grams Grass-Fed Tallow
- 30 grams Organic Shea Butter
- 16 grams Organic Beeswax
- 6 drops Vitamin E Oil
- 3-5 drops essential oil per lip balm tube
Instructions
- Melt tallow, shea butter, and beeswax in double boiler - do not let it boil.
- Remove from heat, add Vitamin E Oil and Essential Oils. If mixture gets too hot, allow to cool before adding the oils.
- Gently pour into lip balm containers.
- Allow to cool, place lids, and add labels if desired.
