Instructions
Mix all of your dry ingredients together
Add your wet ingredients
Mix together
Start heating the griddle, and while it is heating, the pancake batter will rise
Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to pour the batter onto the heated griddle. You can add toppings to your buttermilk pancakes if you prefer. Toppings can include fruit (blueberries, raspberries, or even bananas) or chocolate chips.
Flip when the pancakes start to bubble and the underside is light brown
Top with your favorite toppings - butter and maple syrup are our favorite toppings, but you can use fresh fruit, berry syrup, or even whipped cream.
Notes
If doubling the recipe, I recommend 2 1/2 cups of Buttermilk instead of just 2 cups.I have also made this recipe by tripling the recipe, and using 1 cup of kefir and the rest whole milk.
