Barbecue Meatballs in the Oven
Today I am sharing another family favorite recipe. I love making these barbeque meatballs using ground pork and ground beef and baking them in the oven. It makes this meal delicious and easy for any home cook to make. And your family is going to love these baked bbq meatballs!
One thing I love about making these barbeque meatballs is that you can make the meatballs whatever size you would like. Our family prefers bigger meatballs, but you can also make them smaller. I also used a combination of ground pork and ground beef in these baked meatballs, but again you can use whatever ground meat you have on hand.

How to Make Baked BBQ Meatballs
Combine all ingredients (the mixture will be soft) and shape into desired size. Walnut-sized balls are recommended, but I prefer the size of a clementine.
Line your baking pans with parchment paper, and place meatballs in a single layer.
Place meatballs in oven and bake.
Using a meat thermometer, check the meatball temp to ensure doneness.
Mix sauce and spoon onto meatballs.
Bake for a few more minutes to heat sauce.
Remove from oven and enjoy when hot!
Can you Freeze Meatballs?
Yes, you can freeze meatballs. I usually keep a dinner’s worth (plus a few extra for a meatball sandwich for leftovers!) and freeze the rest of the meatballs for another meal. I prefer to freeze the cooked meatballs without sauce and will add them when I reheat at a later date.
Here is my sandwich bread recipe to make an excellent meatball sandwich for lunch the next day!
