Easy Cheesecake Dessert

Sharing is caring!

Today I am sharing an easy cheesecake dessert that requires no baking. This No Bake Cheesecake is a family favorite and is a great go-to dessert and is made with pantry staple items.

The best part of making this delicious no-bake cheesecake is the no need for baking! Sometimes when you need a last-minute idea for the family get-together (excellent to make for an Easter or Mother’s Day lunch!) it is best to make a quick dessert that doesn’t require any extra thought.

Supplies Needed for Cheesecake Dessert

Ingredients Needed to Make a No Bake Cheesecake

  • graham cracker crumbs
  • melted butter
  • sugar
  • Dream Whip (milk, vanilla, Dream Whip mix)
  • cream cheese
  • sugar
  • vanilla
  • frozen fruit
  • cornstarch or jello/gelatin

How to Make a No-Bake Cheesecake

The first step is to make the graham cracker crust and get it into the 9×13 dish. I like to chill the crust until I am ready to add the next step.

Mix the two packages of Dream Whip according to the package instructions. This is easiest to do with a kitchen aid mixer or hand-held mixer. Make sure to whip until it thickens and forms soft peaks. Move to a separate bowl to save for later.

Cream the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until it is smooth in the kitchen aid mixer.

Combine the Dream Whip and cream cheese mixture and fold together. Fill the graham cracker crust.

Make the fruit top and allow it to cool. Spoon onto the cheesecake and chill the entire dish.

Serve the no bake cheesecake dessert cold and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Kitchen Aid Mixer or Handheld Mixer
  • Pot
  • 9×13 baking dish or dish of your choice

Ingredients

  • Graham Cracker Crust Ingredients:
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs I usually use 2 packages of graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Cheesecake Ingredients:
  • 2 packages of Dream Whip – prepared according to package instructions
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Fruit Topping Ingredients:
  • 2 – 16 oz bags of frozen fruit or can use 2-3 cups of fresh fruit
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Cornstarch OR jello/gelatin
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • Splash of lemon juice

Instructions

  • Crush graham crackers. This can be done in a food processor or blender, or even place the graham crackers in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin. After crushing the graham crackers, combine the crumbs, butter, and sugar and mix. Press into a 9×13-inch pan.
  • Mix the two packages of Dream Whip according to the package instructions. This is easiest to do with a kitchen aid mixer or hand-held mixer. Make sure to whip until it thickens and forms soft peaks. Move to a separate bowl to save for later.
  • Cream the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Combine Dream Whip and cream cheese mixture and fold together.
  • Fill the graham cracker crust with the mixture.
  • Place into the refrigerator to keep cool while making the fruit mixture.
  • In a saucepan, heat the frozen fruit over medium heat. Warm the fruit and use an immersion blender to blend the chunky fruit. (BE CAREFUL IF HOT!)
  • Bring the fruit to a boil.
  • Add the cornstarch (or jello), lemon juice, and sugar and whisk together.
  • Allow fruit mixture to cool and pour over cheesecake.
  • Chill dessert and serve cold. Enjoy!

Notes

You can use gluten-free graham crackers or pretzels for the crust
I have made this recipe using regular milk or almond milk.
